As a fabulous fundraising idea, creative keepsake and a crafty design-your-own project, Lorna Wiles’ school tea towels continue to be one of our most popular products. They also work as wedding favours or even invitations and for many clubs & organisations.
Younger children might enjoy making handprints or even footprints, whilst those a little older may prefer drawing self-portraits. As well as being an engaging class project, school tea towels make fabulous keepsakes for parents, grandparents and friends whilst raising funds for your school or group. Many schools prefer to order their school tea towels in the Autumn term as they make perfect Christmas presents.
Designing your own school tea towel couldn’t be simpler. Choose the size of tea towel required. Our standard white tea towel will take up to 180-200 drawings or 50 handprints. Our Big T Tea Towel can take up to 300 drawings or 60 handprints. The Big T is available in white, unbleached or certified Organic unbleached cotton. Ask the children draw in black pen on white paper. Then cut out & stick the drawings onto a large white backing sheet. Remember to leave space for your school name and logo.
If you would prefer a full colour tea towel then we can digitally print your tea towel and the drawings can be done in coloured pens/paint rather than black.
For full details on creating your unique masterpiece, just follow the instructions in our School Tea Towel Artwork Guide. We also offer bib aprons and cotton bags: please call for artwork sizes for these products.
